History

This batch represents a tremendous collaboration between a new generation of coffee producers: the Lasso brothers from the El Diviso farm and Jhoan Vergara from the Las Flores farm. These young coffee farmers represent the vanguard of coffee production in Colombia, focusing exclusively on specialty coffees and using science and technology to achieve the highest quality standards. Their collaboration brings together the necessary experience to optimize the processing of this regional batch.

The story of Finca Las Flores began in 1990 when Edilberto and Nubia, originally from Cundinamarca, decided to settle in Acevedo, Huila. Over the years, the farm was renovated and shifted its focus to producing specialty coffees, using advanced science and technology to ensure superior quality. Today, Jhoan and his brother Diego manage Las Flores, proving that new generations of coffee growers are ready to take on challenges and innovate.

On the other hand, El Diviso is a family business with a history of approximately 25 years in coffee production. Started by José Uribe Lasso, the project has recently intensified its efforts in the production of specialty coffees, forming a cohesive team of family and close friends. They have managed to standardize processing protocols that guarantee quality in their coffee batches.
