Finca Las Marías represents the Giraldo family’s latest and most valuable acquisition. José dreamed of finding a high-altitude farm nestled in a native forest, where light conditions could improve the quality of the most exotic coffee varieties. After a thorough search, he discovered Las Marías, a property that had been abandoned for more than twenty years and was in a disastrous state. With patience and dedication, José embarked on a meticulous process of selecting the best genetics, bringing this forgotten farm back to life.

Among all the varieties, Geisha stands out as the farm's true treasure. These seeds, originally from Panama, have been cultivated with the utmost care and attention.

The cherries, harvested at the perfect level of ripeness (Brix level above 22), are carefully processed at the Café 1959 facilities. Thanks to the Giraldo family's unwavering passion and meticulous attention to every detail, the Las Marías farm has become a symbol of excellence in the coffee world, recognized for the extraordinary quality of its production.

On the palate, delicate notes of exotic fruits such as ripe mango and papaya are perceived, with a smooth finish evoking passion fruit, offering a rich and enveloping tasting experience.
