History

Located in the heart of the Mocotíes Valley, in Mérida state, Venezuela, Finca Los Naranjos is a reflection of a coffee vision born from hard work, passion, and community.

Its owner, Falsir Durán, is a producer who changed the course of his life after attending a coffee talk in Táchira state. Inspired, he planted his first 2,000 coffee plants of a then-new variety in the area: Villanueva. Such was his commitment and dedication to the farm that the variety ended up taking the name of the year it all began.

With over 11 years of experience, Falsir has expanded the farm to 104 hectares, 99 of which are dedicated to shade-grown coffee, using a blend of organic and conventional practices. In addition to investing in machinery and improving processing processes, he has shared his success with the community by donating over 4 million seeds to other producers in the region.

Today, Los Naranjos is not just a coffee farm, but a rural processing center: it has washing machines, threshing machines, drying yards, administrative monitoring, and services for other coffee growers.

Every bean grown at Los Naranjos carries with it the vision of a farmer who has invested in his land and believes in the power of coffee as a driver of change.
